My name is Michael Spohn, and I'm proud to call Monaca, Pennsylvania my home. I've lived in the Beaver County area for over 45 years, and during that time, I’ve built deep roots in the community and lasting relationships that I truly value.

For over three decades, I worked in the automotive industry, spending 34 years helping customers find the right vehicle while building a reputation for honesty, service, and integrity. As a Manager and General Manager, I was fortunate to have customers return again and again—not just because of competitive pricing, but because of how I treated them. Respect, transparency, and genuine care have always been at the heart of what I do.

Eventually, it was time for a change. One evening, while chatting with a close friend about solar energy, everything clicked. Solar just makes sense: It helps reduce carbon emissions, creates clean, renewable energy, and let’s be honest—it saves money. That conversation lit a new fire in me, and I knew I wanted to be part of something that makes a real difference. Giving back has always been important to me. Over the years, I’ve sponsored local sports teams and supported other community efforts in Western Pennsylvania. Serving the community isn’t just something I talk about—it’s something I live. And now, I’m bringing that same commitment to helping families and businesses across Western Pennsylvania make the switch to solar.

When you work with me, you’re not just getting a sales pitch. I’m no “hard sell” guy. I’m here to consult, to educate, and to help you determine whether solar is the right fit. If it makes sense, great—we move forward. If it doesn’t, that’s okay too. I’m with you from the first consultation through installation, and I stay involved to ensure everything is working as promised. If there’s an issue, I don’t pass the buck—I take care of it.

I offer both roof-mounted and ground-mounted systems, depending on your property and preferences. That matters, because every home, every family, every energy need is unique. That’s why I take the time to personalize each consultation to your specific situation. And yes, sometimes a property may not qualify due to shading, location, or usage—but I’ll be upfront about that. I’ll never sell solar unless it truly benefits you.

My business along with my colleagues that own Helios Solar in Moon Township have put together a program that can help more than 90% of people that are interested in Solar Energy and being able to generate their own power.
